Sushi Sen is a regular stop for me, though I'm usually going for udon and soba. (Which doesn't matter if you're burying your sushi in sriracha, but you take my point.) IMO, it's a poorly thought out gimmick. I think the texture is so aggressive it makes it impossible to appreciate the texture of the fish, and the rice doesn't absorb the seasoning the same way white rice does which throws the balance of flavors all out of whack. And I think the purple rice is a terrible mistake. It's better than the average joint, but still very much focused on the very sloppy, kitchen sink, over the top American roll style. Harumi/Kodo are extremely popular, and you may wish to give them a try, but count me among the detractors. Hana is great, and is a place I would have recommended if it were closer to you than the two I mentioned.
